Turkmenistan-Austria Trade Turnover in January Amounts to 300 Thousand Euros

The total trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Austria in January 2021 amounted to 300 thousand euros, the Baku-based Trend news agency reported on Thursday with reference to the Austrian Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs.

In 2020, Austria mostly exported medicines and pharmaceuticals, work equipment, food products, perfumes, as well as detergents and cleaning products, according to Austrian Ministry.

Meanwhile, in the past year, the main imported products from Turkmenistan were communications equipment, vegetables and fruits, vehicles, clothing and accessories.

During online negotiations with Turkmen government agencies and entrepreneurs in January 2021, Leading Austrian construction companies expressed interest in participation in the implementation of Ashgabat City project.
