Turkmenistan will take part in the international exhibition ITMA 2023 in Milan

Turkmenistan will take part in the international exhibition of textile machinery ITMA 2023, which will be held in Milan from June 8 to 14.

This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, speaking about the development of trade and economic relations of Turkmenistan with foreign countries.

ITMA (Internationale Textilmaschinen Ausstellung) is one of the largest international exhibitions for the textile and clothing industry. The forum's venues meet the world's leading manufacturers in this field.

The textile industry of Turkmenistan regularly participates in such international forums, since this sector of the country's economy has received powerful and dynamic development since the first days of independence.

The Vice Prime Minister said that relevant work is also underway to hold a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission for Economic Cooperation, a working trip of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Germany.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the positive dynamics in the development of a constructive partnership between Turkmenistan and foreign countries, including in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Speaking about the significance of the upcoming events in enhancing cooperation in these areas, the head of state ordered to ensure an appropriate level of preparation for them.
